Farnsworth Group is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer who will work with experienced engineers on telecommunications and utility projects. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the utility engineering industry.

• Support telecommunication and utility related project development.
• Complete site visits, including surveying, locating, and documenting existing conditions (may include overnight travel).
• Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities.
• Design telecommunications and other utility projects using Micro Station, AutoCAD, or other design software.

• B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Exposure to transportation plans, telecommunications, or utilities is a plus.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.

$69,000 - $81,000 (Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
