Project Manager

Automated Logic is seeking a Project Manager for potential mission-critical projects in Lisle, IL. The ideal candidate has strong project management expertise, develops plans and budgets, identifies and resolves project issues, documents delays, performs critical path analysis, and delivers progress reports. Responsibilities include improving communication with clients and field teams, analyzing test results to solve design or system problems, and developing specialized product knowledge for diagnostics.

This position is eligible for the Project Manager Incentive Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects following project processes and where applicable provide direction to assisting Project Engineers
• Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.
• Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope
• Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues
• Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action
• Maintains effective communications with customers and field team members to better understand support requirements.
• Contacts customers frequently requiring a high degree of tact and courtesy to maintain and build good rapport.
• Develops diverse product knowledge and may perform diagnostic procedures.
• Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design/system related problems.
• Plans to remedy any issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in Project Management in the Building Automation Controls industry, Construction and/or HVAC
• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 20lbs
• Ability to be insured for driving company vehicles or personal vehicle on company behalf
• Ability to travel up to 75% as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or technical field.
• Experience with building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
• Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and other Windows products

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $ annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
