Cost Controller

Overview

TRATON, a global leader in commercial vehicles with brands like Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, is building a unified global R&D organization. TRATON USA’s R&D team is hiring a Product Cost Controller to support this transformation. This role is onsite in Lisle, IL.

• This role manages product cost structures across the lifecycle, from concept to release, and collaborates with cross-functional teams across TRATON brands.
• Responsibilities include building Bills of Materials, defining target costs, tracking profitability, and presenting cost data to support strategic decisions.

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of finance or accounting experience, a master’s degree with 1 year, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization is required.
• Ideal applicants bring expertise in target costing, cost management in matrix organizations, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, and strong communication skills.
• International experience is a plus.
