Financial Systems Manager Lisle, IL

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base salary +
15% annual discretionary bonus

A well‑established organization in the Lisle, IL area is seeking a Manager, Financial Systems (Accounting) to support the continued development of its financial technology environment and accounting operations. This role serves as the primary bridge between Accounting and cross‑functional technical partners, ensuring systems support accurate reporting, efficient workflows, and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and experienced in supporting financial applications within a professional, fast‑moving environment.

• Oversee day‑to‑day support and administration of core financial systems used for general ledger activities, payables, receivables, fixed assets, and project‑related accounting.
• Lead troubleshooting, issue resolution, and functional support for Accounting, ensuring data accuracy and continuity of financial processes.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, standardization, and enhanced reporting.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles, configuration updates, and process documentation.
• Define reporting requirements and support the creation of management dashboards and financial insights.
• Support integrations between financial systems and other organizational platforms.
• Maintain internal control standards, data governance, and compliance requirements across financial applications.
• Train end users, develop reference materials, and promote best‑practice system usage.

Required:

• 7+ years of combined experience in Accounting/Finance and financial systems support or administration.
• Strong understanding of period‑end close cycles, financial processes, and internal controls.
• Experience supporting or enhancing financial applications within a corporate environment.
• Ability to translate operational needs into functional system solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Experience participating in system upgrades, integrations, or process‑improvement initiatives.
• Background supporting reporting, data integrity, and workflow optimization.
• Exposure to planning, consolidation, or reconciliation tools is beneficial but not required.
• Annual discretionary bonus: Target of 15%, based on company and individual performance
