Position Overview
Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst
International Motors provides financing of new and used trucks, buses, and tractors for International Motors brand truck dealers, IC Bus dealers, and customers who purchase International Motors products. This role supports multiple duties in the operations of the finance company, working with large, medium, and small fleet customers. The position is cross‑functional, collaborating with Titles & Insurance, Scanning & Data Entry, Portfolio Management, Customer Service, and other departments as needed.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm – Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- Daily interaction with internal and external customers
- Assist in internal and external audit processes
- Accurately process all incoming loan/lease payments and bank deposits; document any return items
- Perform daily cash balancing: compare system receipts against bank summaries, address differences
- Reconcile and report on disposition of unapplied cash items
- Research and reconcile customer account and payment histories
- Assist the accounting department with month‑end reconciliations
- Process daily tasks such as terminations, extensions, rebooks, and account maintenance as required
- Serve as point of contact for internal account inquiries and information requests
- Ensure accurate booking, data entry, and funding of new loans and leases
- Document system processes and procedures and train others on best practices
- Participate in UAT testing for system upgrades and improvements
- Work on project teams to implement and test new systems
- Promote continuous improvement in departmental processes and practices
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of credit or collections experience
- Master’s degree and no experience
- At least 3 years of credit or collections experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis in the United States (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee). No employment‑related work sponsorship is anticipated for this position.
