Koch Capabilities, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager/Assistant Tax Director for Molex. This role will be based out of the Lisle Molex Headquarter office.

As part of the Molex Tax team, you will build and develop relationships across the business to gain a deep understanding of our operations, commercial activities, and strategic priorities, allowing you to apply economic and strategic thinking to complex tax matters and key business decisions. Working closely with Koch's broader tax organization of more than 350 professionals, you will leverage capabilities across various tax capabilities including US domestic and international tax, foreign jurisdictional tax, transfer pricing, state and local, indirect, controversy, and M&A to support business objectives, manage risk, and create long-term value.
This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence key transactions, strategic initiatives, and business outcomes.
- Support the Business Tax Director and business leaders to identify opportunities, anticipate business needs, evaluate trade-offs, and develop tax-efficient solutions that support business objectives and long-term value creation.
- Develop key business relationships and service as a trusted tax advisor while collaborating closely with business commercial teams and capabilities (e.g., accounting, legal, treasury, FP&A, commercial, etc.).
- Prioritize and coordinate multiple projects to support domestic and international tax matters and strategic initiatives, including transfer pricing, intercompany financing arrangements, legal entity restructurings, cross-border transactions, permanent establishment, as well as other commercial transactions and optimization initiatives.
- Evaluate tax consequences, risks, alternatives, and value creation opportunities associated with initiatives, providing decision-support analysis to business and tax leadership.
- Support Business Tax Director in developing internal tax talent by fostering a culture of economic thinking, providing coaching and feedback, and empowering others to maximize their individual contributions to align with PBM.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and global tax developments, assess potential impacts to the business, and communicate associated opportunities and risks to stakeholders.
- Progressive career experience in corporate/partnership taxation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in application of federal and international tax policies, position management, regulations and reporting requirements.
- Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results and driving initiatives forward.
- Proven ability in project management; supporting business restructuring and leading the development and execution of transaction implementation plans
- ASC 740 experience
- Experience training, supervising and developing staff and/or interns
- Experience communicating tax concepts to non-tax individuals
For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
