Medical Assistant – Urology

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures
• Assist with immunizations or injections if certified
• Assist patients with prescription requests and address pharmacy callbacks
• Process provider orders, update charting, and file records
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
• Travel to assist other local clinics as required

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
• Active medical assistant certification may be required through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA, depending on clinical specialty
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Demonstrates proficiency in patient care, including vital sign measurement, lab testing, and assisting with medical procedures. Holds relevant certifications and provides exceptional customer service in a clinical environment.
