Job Description:
This contract role provides maternity leave coverage for a hands-on HR Generalist. The primary focus is employee relations, while also supporting HR reporting, recruiting, and acting as a liaison to internal leaders. This role offers exposure to all HR functions and high visibility to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and edit time accrual requests, reports, and employee information in UKG
- Assist with recruiting, primarily entry-level and customer service roles
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders, addressing employee issues
- Conduct investigations, terminations, and offboarding
- Collaborate lightly with safety team on workers’ compensation claims
- Maintain accurate HR data and support reporting needs
- Build strong relationships with leaders and guide them through HR processes
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years HR experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills; calm, approachable, and a good listener
