Head Of Performance & Reward (P&R), Americas
Lead a team of Performance and Reward professionals located in multiple countries (Area: United States, Mexico, and Canada) ensuring a high level of performance that supports the business strategy and customer needs.
Implement and drive the use of KONE reward, benefit, recognition and performance management policies, guidelines, processes, systems, and practices throughout the Area so that outcomes meet current and future business needs. Engage and motivate employees that are consistent with KONE's desired internal and external market position. Design and develop Area level reward strategies, policies, and guidelines that are aligned with KONE level philosophy, strategy, and frameworks.
Develop, drive, and implement strategies for Performance and Reward to maintain or improve KONE's global compensation, salary management, performance management, mobility and benefits policies, processes and systems so they meet KONE's objectives with regards to internal equity, external market competitiveness and driving employee engagement and productivity.
Act as a trusted, senior advisor to Business Leaders, Finance, and HR on Area compensation, mobility and benefit policies, best practices and processes, and recommend/propose changes and improvements.
Provide support to People & Communications Directors and Area EVPs on grading and reward proposals for the Area Management team members.
Contribute to the development of global rewards, recognition, and performance management policies, guidelines, and processes; ensuring local business needs and employee market trends and insights are included.
Drive the KONE global annual P&R processes in the Area. Collaborate with the Global P&R team and HR Services to ensure annual programs are designed and delivered successfully.
Analyze and evaluate external and internal market trends. Use analytics and data to develop employment cost budgets and forecasts, as well as performance, reward and recognition approaches that are aligned with the business requirements and enable business leaders to make strategic decisions.
10+ years of progressive experience, with 7+ years in compensation and/or benefits, and 5+ years leading people and developing talent; HR Business Partner experience a plus.
A bachelor's degree is required. MBA is preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is strongly preferred.
PHR/SPHR is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively listen and communicate with internal and external customers at all levels of an organization.
Critical thinking and analytical skills required.
Proven success and experience implementing best practice processes in compensation, benefits, and other human resources administrative areas.
Policy creation and administration.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook) and enterprise human resource capital systems.
Strong project management skills used to drive business results.
LEAN Six Sigma training and mind set preferred.
Ability to deal with ambiguity.

Demonstrates strong analytical/problem solving skills to make sound recommendations to customers.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred, French a plus
Geographies: U.S., Canada, And Mexico – Travel up to 20% domestically

Chairperson of the Retirement Committees for the U.S., Canada and Mexico

Lead Area level Performance and Reward projects and ensure Area operating plan is executed on time achieving expected quality and outcomes.
Participates and contribute to global Performance and Reward Projects.
