About the Opportunity:As Recruiting Manager, you will own and personally execute full-cycle recruiting across EOC. You will work directly with company leadership and department heads to anticipate hiring needs, build strong candidate pipelines, improve our recruiting processes, and ensure every hire strengthens our culture and client experience.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys sourcing candidates, building relationships, and driving searches from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding. The position is based primarily in our Lisle office and includes occasional local travel to trade schools, job fairs, and community recruiting events.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead full-cycle recruiting across both EOC businesses, including field technicians, programmers, project managers, designers, sales professionals, service staff, security technicians, and office roles.
- Partner with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and translate business goals into practical quarterly recruiting plans.
- Build qualified pipelines through proactive sourcing on Linked In and Indeed, employee referrals, trade schools, community organizations, social media, and local networks.
- Identify and engage passive candidates rather than relying only on applicants from job postings.
- Develop lasting relationships with technical schools, apprenticeship programs, veterans organizations, and other sources of skilled-trade talent, and represent EOC at relevant job fairs and trade events.
- Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain clear, consistent workflows, interview documentation, and candidate communications.
- Conduct initial screens, coordinate interviews, support references and pre-employment steps, and partner with hiring managers through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
- Create a professional, responsive candidate experience that reflects EOC standards and culture.
- Track and report recruiting metrics, including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and 90- and 180-day retention.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on, full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for construction, home services, low-voltage systems, security, AV/technology integration, skilled trades, or another field-service business is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success hiring both hourly technical talent and salaried professional or management roles.
- A proactive sourcing mindset: you know how to find and engage candidates who are not actively applying.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills; candidates and hiring managers enjoy working with you.
- Comfort using Linked In Recruiter, Indeed Resume, an ATS, and basic reporting tools to manage activity and measure results.
- The organization and follow-through to manage multiple searches without sacrificing speed, detail, or candidate experience.
- A self-starter mentality and genuine interest in building recruiting systems that can scale with the business.
- Bachelor degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Base salary of $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
- Cash incentives for successful hires, generally ranging from $500-$2,000 per hire
- Health, dental, and vision insurance; retirement plan with company matching; paid time off; and paid holidays.
- Significant opportunity to make a visible impact at EOC and grow with the broader Ardan Group platform
