We are working with an exciting organization that is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Solutions Architect
. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test cloud solutions that support the business. As a BI Solutions Architect, you will be involved in all aspects of providing these solutions, from design and development to implementation. You will be part of a larger team, so this role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills with other technical groups as well as business leaders.

• Work closely with business users to understand and define system requirements and then make recommendations on solutions to fit the business need.
• Evaluate current system capabilities to identify needed changes and determine the impact on the business. Ensure that the proposed solution fulfills the business need.
• Work as a team member within IT to develop and implement defined solutions. Identify needed resources (internal and/or external) and coordinate these resources for successful implementation.
• Develop technical specifications for applications supporting the business. Communicate with team members to ensure understanding of requirements and tasks.
• Develop programs and solutions using appropriate technologies and provide ongoing support.
• Provide test plans and execute technical and functional tests to verify desired results. Evaluate results and coordinate necessary modifications.
• Define, organize, develop, and track the progress of solutions using project management techniques. Identify issues and risks, manage them, and communicate status to management through reports and meetings.
• Develop and maintain all system-related documentation.
• Follow established methodologies during system development and ensure adherence to IT department standards and procedures.
• Require 8+ years of application development experience in EDW systems and 2+ years in AWS technology stack.
• Must have excellent knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug applications.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate across technology, business functions, and senior leadership.
• Critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Architect, design, and build data lakes and data analytics platforms.
• Experience with structured/semi-structured data ingestion and processing on AWS using EC2, S3, EMR, Glue, Sqoop, Python, Spark, SQL, Talend, Redshift, R, RDS, etc.
• Development and performance tuning using the above tools.
• Good understanding of security in AWS cloud technology stack.
• Experience with data warehouses and BI applications; experience in BW on HANA, BW4/HANA, S4/HANA, BODS is a plus.
• Strong data modeling capabilities.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong relational and OLAP database skills.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Aptitude to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in data lakes, big data, and related use cases.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Assist team members in design and development; mentor less experienced members.
