Application Developer

Overview

Master’s with 1 yr Experience. Compensation salary, Travel/Relocation within USA possible.

• Develop using Blue Prism, .Net, SQL, JQuery, HTML, Java, Bootstrap, WPF, CSS, SAS.
• Design, develop, create and modify computer applications software and/or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions including GUI interfaces with exposure to technologies/tools like PHP, Visual Studio 2012, Java, C#.Net, ASP.NET,  Framework (WCF, WPF, LINQ), Silverlight, SQL Server, etc.
• Perform impact analysis, resolve design and coding errors after testing, and participate in final implementation of the product/project.
• Coordinate and manage server builds, OS installation and patch management; install and maintain software products as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, OS, system software, network, SAN, NAS, etc.; automate repetitive tasks through shell or Perl scripting; tune system software for peak performance and availability.
• Provide 24/7 on-call application support on UNIX/Linux systems in rotation with other team members.
• Provide incident management support, including training Tier 1 via knowledge transfer and knowledge articles.
• Act as a subject matter expert for support areas including Middleware, Database and Unix administration; hands-on experience with Jboss, Web Logic and Tomcat, OS installation and troubleshooting related to hardware, OS, storage.
• Shift work 24/7 (includes weekend/holidays/on-call as needed); provide root cause analysis and manage queues within Service Now, JIRA and Remedy.
• Design, develop & implement high performance scalable architectures & data models utilizing .Net framework (WCF, WPF, WF, LINQ), ASP.NET, , Silverlight, AZURE, Web services, J2EE.
• Carry out system analysis, impact analysis, design & coding, defect fixing for production issues; code review for .NET applications.
• Formulate & analyze software requirements; perform system validation, business & data analysis of client operations, application development, quality testing & implementation of query expressions & expression trees.
• Design test plans and write test cases; experience with automated testing tools like QTP, Selenium and test management tools like Quality Center; exposure to environments including Oracle, .Net, SAP, Java, PL/SQL & exp w/ SQL, Netezza, Auto Sys, Toad, Clear Case, PVCS, C++, ETL (Informatica, Datastage).

• Must have Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or Bachelor’s degree in above-mentioned with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with the listed technologies and environments as described in responsibilities.
