Your Job
As the Category Manager - Global Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics Services, you will lead the sourcing and strategy of Molex's global network of third-party warehousing and logistics partners. Working closely with network modeling, supply chain finance, operations, and regional experts, you will evaluate footprint opportunities, identify and negotiate with suppliers, and drive strategic projects that determine where and how products are stored and distributed across the world.
This role requires deep expertise in warehousing and third-party logistics, along with strong supplier management, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and market intelligence capabilities to support a rapidly growing portfolio of global initiatives.
Our team is responsible for enabling a resilient, cost-effective global logistics network that supports Molex's manufacturing, distribution, and customer fulfillment operations. We partner across the enterprise to design and optimize warehousing solutions, manage strategic supplier relationships, and execute high-impact investments that shape the future of our supply chain footprint. With the volume and complexity of projects expanding significantly, this team plays a critical role in supporting business growth through data-driven decision making and global collaboration.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead global category strategy for logistics, balancing cost, service, risk, and resiliency
- Drive enterprise value creation through cross-business synergies, network optimization, and integration of acquisitions
- Leverage market intelligence and analytics (rates, capacity, fuel, logistics trends) to inform strategies and mitigate volatility
- Deliver TCO improvements through cross-functional initiatives and data-driven sourcing programs
- Align and influence senior stakeholders across operations, finance, and supply chain to execute strategic priorities
- Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships to enhance performance, innovation, and long-term value
- Enable data-driven decision making through category frameworks, baselines, and performance tracking

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in logistics procurement, including warehousing, transportation, 3rd party logistics, and/or brokerage services
- Advanced negotiation and contracting skills, applying fact-based, value-driven approaches
- Strong analytical and financial capabilities
- Global perspective, with understanding of international markets
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
- Category strategy expertise, with demonstrated execution of enterprise-level sourcing plans
- Analytical and financial capabilities, including TCO modeling, should-costing and value tracking
For this role, we anticipate paying $145,000 - $165,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
