As the Director of Global Demand Planning, you will lead a global team of approximately 40 employees, including six direct reports, focused on improving customer experience and business outcomes across Molex's end-to-end supply chain. This role requires a leader who can connect demand planning, supply planning, and commercial priorities to drive profitable growth, optimize inventory, and improve service levels. You will spend the majority of your time developing leaders and building organizational capability while also shaping strategy, championing innovation, and accelerating the use of AI, automation, and data-driven decision making.
Success in this role requires strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for creating value through collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will join a global team that is transforming Demand Planning from a transactional forecasting function into a strategic capability that delivers measurable business value every day. The organization partners closely with business leaders, supply planning teams, sales organizations, and manufacturing sites worldwide to identify opportunities that improve customer experience, optimize inventory, and support profitable growth. As part of this evolution, the team is leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and automation to enhance decision-making and create greater agility across the supply chain.

- Using data-driven business process & strategy, anticipate & fulfill the evolving needs of our customers

- Lead a culture of innovation with technological advancements & scaled use of AI to capture evolving market trends & improve outcomes
- Foster cross-functional collaboration & teamwork among Molex stakeholders & customers. You will drive a close partnership with Supply Planning to achieve One Molex key outcomes.
- You will lead a $10B in revenue (2026) Global Demand Planning team to drive the following outcomes daily:
- Reduce late backlog & air freight related to under forecasting conditions
- Reduce slow & excess inventory related to over forecasting conditions
- Improve range of outcome scenarios aligned with downstream supply constraints
- Identify order fulfillment exceptions that can require out of cycle forecast adjustments and/or further enrichment.
- Fully earn the trust of our Business Lead Teams & Global Operations Capability including both Supply Excellence & plants.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, procurement, finance, analytics, GSOP&E, or a related business function.
- Proven ability to lead and develop large, global teams while fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and bottom-up contribution.
- Strong coaching and talent development skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide meaningful feedback, build leaders, and support employee growth.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams and present complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in GSOP&E and the electronics industry, including both direct and distribution go-to-market models.
- Experience leveraging advanced planning, analytics, and data platforms such as SAP, Kinaxis, Snowflake, or similar technologies to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Experience leading global supply chain or demand planning organizations across manufacturing environments and cross-regional teams.
- Experience driving digital transformation initiatives, including the application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business outcomes.
