The Director of Hematology, Oncology & Radiation Oncology provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across the Brian Moran Cancer Institute’s four community-based practice locations within Duly Health and Care. This leader is responsible for overseeing outpatient hematology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology services to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered, and financially sustainable care. The Director partners closely with physician leaders, infusion, pharmacy, research, and operational teams to advance clinical excellence, improve patient access and experience, optimize operational performance, and support continued growth across the oncology service line.
This role is accountable for operational outcomes across multiple sites and interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provides comprehensive operational leadership for hematology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology services across the Brian Moran Cancer Institute.
- Partners with physician leaders, operational leaders and providers to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on access, growth, quality, patient experience, and operational performance.
- Leads service line initiatives to optimize workflows, improve patient throughput, enhance care coordination, and standardize operational best practices across all locations.
- Supports the continued development and expansion of oncology services, research opportunities, and multidisciplinary care models.
- Collaborates with medical, surgical, research, and ancillary service leaders to ensure integrated and coordinated oncology care delivery.
- Provides direct leadership, mentorship, and accountability for practice managers, supervisors, and other operational leaders across oncology service lines.
- Oversees operational support for advanced practice providers and clinic-based teams in collaboration with physician and clinical leadership.
- Fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, communication, and professional growth across interdisciplinary teams.
- Builds strong relationships with physicians and clinical dyad partners to support alignment between operational and clinical priorities.
- Promotes employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develops, manages, and monitors operational budgets, capital planning, productivity targets, and financial performance metrics across oncology operations.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and support financial sustainability while maintaining exceptional patient care.
