Materials Planning & Logistics Specialist

Location:

Onsite at Lisle, IL Duration: 6 Months

Hours:

Monday - Friday/8 AM-5 PM Candidates must be local and able to work onsite in Lisle, IL 5 days a week, NOT hybrid for this team Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered

Description:

The person's main responsibility will be to support the manufacturing plant's request for support on material availability to meet production. Working with internal and external suppliers to meet the production requirements. The person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve and implementing processes and solutions to prevent recurrence. This person will also be given assignments to work with production facilities on cost savings opportunities in freight, logistics, operations, etc as defined Skill Sets:
Supply Chain background Logistics management Production planning Proficiency with Excel Continuous improvement Go-get attitude
