Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing

Compensation: USD 19.5 - USD 22 hourly

Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork. This position is responsible for caring for the residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), LPN/LVN, or Director of Nursing.

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report them to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other ADLs.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to resident assessment and plan of care.
• Follow schedule of residents’ needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Promote and protect resident rights, assist in informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect personal belongings, report suspected abuse/neglect, avoid restraints, support independent expression, choices, and decision-making consistent with law and regulation.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity of the residents.

• Level of Formal
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or up to 3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Area of Study: Clinical/Nursing.

  CNA licensure depending on state requirements and regulations.
