Overview

• Role:
Registered Nurse in Infusion Services
- Administer chemotherapy, biologics, and infusion therapies following established protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate interventions as needed.
- Perform pre‑infusion assessments, including vital signs, lab review, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and care plans.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, referring providers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and self‑care strategies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients during their treatment journey.
- Schedule future treatments, manage electronic in‑baskets, pre‑check charts, and coordinate referrals to support seamless patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of starting (preferred).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience; infusion or oncology experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong knowledge of infusion therapy standards, oncology nursing practice, and patient safety principles.

Base pay range: $32.65–$49.00 per hour, with actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
