We are seeking an Environmental Scientist for the position in Lisle, IL.

• Perform field investigations to delineate and map wetlands, conduct environmental compliance inspections, describe habitat, and report environmental conditions to design engineers.
• Research and complete environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Compose regulatory documents including Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Best Management Practice (BMP) Plans.
• Develop strong client relationships.
• Work with project teams, technical staff, and subcontractors.

• BS (MS preferred) in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources, or related discipline.
• 0‑5 years of environmental‑related experience; field experience is a plus.
• Experience collecting GPS data and creating maps in ArcGIS Pro.
• Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations (Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, etc.) and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork on short notice.
• Valid driver’s license.

$55,000 - $70,000 (Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
