Responsibilities
- Maintaining control and power systems for motor driven conveyor belts, pumps, air compressors, locomotives, and winch systems.
- Electricians are also responsible for preventive maintenance for all electrical systems.
- Electricians must have MSHA electrical certification.
- They must be able to use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and electrical measurement devices.
- Must be able to use programmable logic controllers and associated software as a troubleshooting tool.
- Must possess the ability to solve a wide variety of problems using a logical and analytical approach.
- Ensures proper training and various electrical certifications are maintained (State, OSHA, MSHA) for electrical crew.
