Aramark, in partnership with Signature Events at The Morton Arboretum, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Catering Event Driver to support our event operations. This role is essential to the success of each event and requires professionalism, punctuality, and strong attention to detail while ensuring the timely and safe transportation of food, beverages, and equipment from kitchen and warehouse locations to on-site venues throughout the property.
The position is based on event needs and may include morning, daytime, evening, weekends, and holiday shifts. Drivers must present themselves professionally and prioritize safety, efficiency, and accuracy to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Drivers work closely with culinary and event teams to ensure deliveries are handled with care and executed seamlessly. Opportun ity for overtime during peak season (May–December) based on event availability.
Hourly rate: $20.00 to $20.00.

Job Responsibilities- Load, transport, and unload food, beverages, and catering equipment.
- Safely operate company delivery vans or trucks in accordance with food safety, transportation, and company safety policies.
- Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and timelines.
- Review and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Maintain clear communication with the catering manager, event supervisors, culinary teams, sales teams, and bartenders.
- Anticipate team and event needs to proactively support smooth operations.
- Manage and track equipment and supply inventory on a weekly basis at assigned locations.
- Obtain delivery confirmations from supervisors as required.
- Assist culinary teams and event supervisors with event execution as needed.
- Support event setup and breakdown when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with the event operations team and step in wherever needed to support operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to dress code, appearance, and grooming standards set by managemen.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Food handler’s and Basset certification preferred but not required.
- Uniform: Employees are expected to wear black non-slip shoes, black dress shirt or polo, black socks, black dress pants, and a name tag. Maintaining a neat, professional appearance is required at all times.
