Bus Driver – Substitute
Location:
SASED Administrative Offices

Responsibilities- Drive and maintain a yellow school bus during school hours (8 a.m. – 3 p.m.) in accordance with the regular school year calendar.
- Obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid School Bus Permit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school district safety policies, and state regulations while transporting students.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a physical examination and a drug test.
- Successful completion of the Illinois Secretary of State prerequisites for a Class B CDL and School Bus Permit.
- Prior experience or willingness to obtain a school bus permit and CDL if not already in possession.
