Independent Cook (Chinese Cuisine)
Dragon Town is looking for a full-time Independent Cook (Chinese Cuisine) to join our professional kitchen team in Lisse, the Netherlands.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients independently before service.
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Apply fundamental and advanced cooking techniques.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
- Assist with menu development and provide input regarding menu composition, recipes and preparation methods.
- Manage stock levels, monitor inventory and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure proper food storage and compliance with HACCP food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to kitchen assistants when required.
- Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.
Position Requirements
Tech School,
Less than 1 Year
work experience Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine.
- Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexible, reliable and motivated.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Full-time position.
