Registered Behavior Technician (Job )

Immediate Opening

Full Time/Academic Calendar 185 days + option for additional work in Extended School Year

Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate Range: $25.00 to $29.00

Major

Responsibilities & Requirements:

* Provide patient and supportive instructional assistance to students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

* Experience with implementation of a Behavior Intervention Plan

* Identify areas and possible solutions to maximize the fidelity of data collection and of implementation of interventions

* Collection of, and on-going maintenance of, behavioral and instructional data

* Proactive communication and collaboration with the school team

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Must have taken and passed the Para Pro test or have 2 years post-secondary education (minimum 60 credits) or Associates Degree or higher

* Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or be willing to immediately participate in coursework and training to become an RBT

* Excellent professionalism and communication skills

* Consistent attendance is an essential function of this position

* Ability to withstand the physical demands of frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as required
