• Follow blueprints to create quality welds.
• Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and work with supervisors and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving forward.
• Prepare products to be welded by reading blueprints and using fixturing.
• Ensure all equipment is in good repair, properly set up, and used safely, including mandatory PPE.
• Identify and move finished products to the proper location within the shop using a forklift if trained.
• Operate manual wire‑feed welders and automatic welders, selecting appropriate welding wire, heat, arc, speed, depth, and weld bead size.
• Produce proficient welds in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and down.
• Perform inspections as required by standards.

• MIG welding experience required; pulse welding experience preferred.
• Prior fabrication background preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs without assistance from various positions.
• Ability to use cranes and hoists.
• Ability to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
