This part-time Clerk role is an on-site position located in Litchfield, CT. The Clerk will assist customers, operate the cash register, handle payments, and provide accurate change. Daily responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating inventory, checking product dates, and keeping displays neat and organized. The Clerk will help maintain a clean and safe store environment, including tidying aisles, counters, and restrooms as needed.

The role also involves answering customer questions, restocking high-demand items, and supporting other store tasks requested by the supervisor or store manager.

• Customer service skills, including clear communication, courteous interactions, and a helpful attitude toward shoppers.
• Basic math and cash handling skills, with the ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system and manage transactions accurately.
• Organizational skills for stocking, labeling, and maintaining orderly shelves and storage areas.
• Attention to detail and reliability for following store procedures, checking product dates, and completing tasks on time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks common in retail environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prior retail or grocery experience is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
