Job Description
Location: Remote (Eastern Standard Time preferred)
Pay Rate- $15/hr - Spanish
- $16/hr - Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali (Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking designated language.)
Join a fast-paced remote customer service team supporting health plan enrollment services. You’ll help clients understand their healthcare options, assist with enrollment, and provide top‑notch support in a high‑volume environment.
What You’ll Do- Answer inbound calls and help clients with enrollment questions
- Explain managed care options and assist clients in selecting a health plan
- Review enrollment forms for accuracy and completeness
- Support the New York Medicaid CHOICE Project
- Escalate issues to supervisors when needed
- Work some Saturdays (required)
- Provide excellent customer service in a professional call‑center environment
- 4 weeks full‑time
- Mon‑Fri | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Mon‑Fri | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Sat | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1‑2 years call center experience preferred
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience in human services or public‑facing roles is a plus
You must have your own equipment that meets the following:
- Windows 10 or macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer
- Wired USB headset with microphone (Bluetooth not allowed)
- Reliable internet (min 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- No Chromebooks, or Macbooks or mobile hotspots as primary connection
