We are looking for a Data Center Technician to support our AWS global infrastructure. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, networking, power, and cooling systems in 24/7 data centers.

• Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix, and network troubleshooting.
• Respond to operational incidents that impact service availability and escalate to senior technicians and management as needed.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on‑call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
• Help train and onboard new team members.

• Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations; willingness to work at alternative sites during training periods.
• Experience with data center or critical environment operations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments.
• Stand, walk, and work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

• 1+ year of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

• Knowledge of network design, protocols, and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Networking Engineering, or similar field.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.

Travel within and outside the regional work area is required. Eligibility for relocation stipend is available for eligible candidates who relocate.
