Role Overview
Grey Orange is seeking a motivated Hardware Support Engineer to support customers and internal teams within the warehouse automation industry.
In this role, you will provide first-level hardware support for Grey Orange robotic and automation systems, monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
* Troubleshoot and resolve first-level hardware and technical issues for Grey Orange products
* Monitor system alerts, downtime, and operational performance metrics
* Coordinate with onsite engineers to recover robotic systems and resolve incidents
Monitoring & SLA Management
* Monitor operational KPIs and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs)
* Track system downtime and escalate issues as needed
* Support ongoing operational performance and system availability
Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain accurate ticket documentation and technical logs
* Follow established SOPs for issue tracking and resolution
* Support documentation updates for new product features and processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Hardware, Support, and Engineering teams across global regions
* Provide technical feedback to internal teams to support product improvements
* Assist in building scalable support processes and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Continuous Improvement & Maintenance
* Support predictive maintenance initiatives and preventive troubleshooting efforts
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency
* Promote a strong safety and customer-focused culture
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
* 0-2 years of experience in robotics, automation, hardware support, or related areas
* Basic knowledge of Linux/Shell terminal environments (Putty, Kitty, etc.)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively across global and cross-functional teams
* Comfortable working in rotational shifts in support of global operations
Preferred Qualifications
* Internship or project experience in robotics, automation, or hardware systems
* Familiarity with hardware/software integration concepts
* Experience working in fast-paced technical or operational environments
* Willingness to travel, including international travel, as needed
