As a Data Center Manager in Amazon, you will manage the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure. You will lead teams of high performers, refine and develop processes to optimize operational excellence, drive performance levels to meet the pace of our data center operations, and build or manage data centers while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

• Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise and ensuring high levels of performance.
• Maintaining existing data centers.
• Assisting with building and bringing online new data centers.
• Continuously improving all processes and procedures.
• Assisting and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
• Liaising with internal teams and management groups.
• Ensuring adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards.
• Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of our data centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes.
• Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, and related practices.

• 4+ years of technical team management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a data center technology role and/or 4+ years of knowledge with networking or computer hardware.

• Experience in technical writing in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of data center experience.
• Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment.
• Work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
