System Specialist – 118811. Time Type:

As a System Specialist WMS Design Lead, you will be responsible for the efficient transmission, storage and analysis of information through computer networks and systems. You will install, maintain and support facility computer systems, provide maintenance and updates, analyze problems, monitor networks, and ensure availability to users. You may be required to be on call outside normal business hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as primary support for client systems solutions for the user community.
- Develop and maintain tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions.
- Engage expert resources for complex support issues outside WMS‑Red Prairie and/or SAP application.
- Coordinate with the team to close support service requests and support testing activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement, maintain and improve internal systems.
- Ensure company assets are maintained responsibly.
- Communicate IT‑related information to site management and client management.
- Maintain system efficiency and ensure proper operation of computers, network and software.
- Test and coordinate system modifications and troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain communication with corporate IT and operations staff.
- Work with corporate IT to resolve complex issues.
- Determine data storage, organization, analysis, use and presentation strategies.
- Produce regular reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Keep RF Standard Operating Procedures current.
- Train associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs and RF guns.
- Respond to inquiries about WMS‑Red Prairie and related computer issues.
- Refer questions to appropriate person when needed.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external customers.
- Assist with research and special projects.
- Oversee manpower, recruiting, retention and development within scope of responsibility.
- Ensure procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity and equipment maintenance.
- Set goals to provide continuous improvement for assigned site.

- Mid to Senior Microsoft Office skills.
- Technical knowledge of technologies relevant to the assigned application or set of applications.
- Experience in administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, systems, etc.
- Experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS.
- Wi‑Fi and RF systems and equipment experience.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Facilitation and mature communication skills for all organizational levels.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency.
- Business and financial acumen.
- Analytical skills (data management, data mining).
- Four‑year degree in a computer‑related field or two‑year degree with relevant experience is a basic requirement.
- Minimum two years of job‑related or relevant experience.
- Three to five years of experience preferred.
- Experience dealing with end users, vendors and clients.
- End‑to‑end understanding of business intelligence and its components.

Expected base pay range: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00. Actual compensation based on experience, skills, education, certifications and location.
