Network Install Technician , Infrastructure Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. This role is part of a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver safety, security, and high capacity at the lowest possible cost.

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment
• Installing fiber and copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
• Maintaining safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Following established hardware installation procedures and performing break‑fix activities
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment
• Traveling within and outside the regional work area; requires personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

• Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts up to 41+ pounds
• Work in a 24/7 environment, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely

• 1+ years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations (or similar technical roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+)
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
