Starting Base Salary: $16 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift 4pm-2:30am Monday through Friday (weekends based on business need)
Duties and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Glass Production Associate 1 to join our production team. In this role, you will plan efficient glass cutting patterns, reduce waste, and support on-time production for our window manufacturing operations.
- Minimize material waste while meeting production deadlines
- Interpret work orders and product specifications
- Communicate cutting plans to operators
- Monitor glass usage, waste, and yield for improvements
- Collaborate with production and quality teams
- Push full carts of glass
- Wear glass jacket and chaps when it’s hot or cold
- Fill out PVA board
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in glass or window production
- Knowledge of glass types, thicknesses, and handling
- Experience with optimization software (GED Software, etc.) a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to read a tape measure

Note on full-time status: Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.
