Job OverviewThe process technician supports the Process Engineer in all his activities of cost savings initiatives related to molding cycle time, scrap, machine utilization and resins.
Responsibilities Reduce molding cycle time and reject rate- Develop most cost-effective resin blends
- Develop process conditions to use the most cost-effective resin blends
- Collaborate with others to obtain best machine uptime
- Trouble shoot process problems
- Operate injection molding machines
- Ensure and enforce compliance with all legal regulations and company policies
- Experience:
Minimum High school. - Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a plastics processing environment - Licenses/Certification:
Certification in Industrial Technology is preferred. - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Set up new injection molding tooling
- Set up injection molding parameters
- Trouble shoot and resolve injection molding issues
- Process analysis and improvement
- Possess good teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
