** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or post orders within a logistics and distribution location, including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yard areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.

+ Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, and drivers, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing traffic flow at gates and dock areas to help reduce delays and congestion.

+ Document and report security-related activity, incidents, and observations using written logs and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and site management.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
