** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or vehicle information as directed by site procedures, and help to support the orderly flow of people, deliveries, and outbound shipments.

+ Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders when needed regarding security-related concerns, operational disruptions, or emergency situations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
