Position Details

Title: 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Location: 1500 N. River Road, Lithia Springs, GA

Pay: Starting at $20.13/hr + two pay raises in first year

Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (Weekday), Friday and Saturday off. 1st Shift 6:45 AM until finish. Shift may vary based on work volume.

You will be on your feet for the duration of your shift, lifting up to 100 pounds. No experience required; training provided. Work in extreme cold or hot conditions. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping items in an automated distribution center. Maintain safety and accuracy while using scanners and picking lists.

• Operate warehouse equipment and forklifts (if applicable) within safety guidelines.
• Pick, pack, and load product for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
• Lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report issues quickly.
• Follow company health and safety policies, wear required PPE, and adhere to temperature control conditions.

• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Will provide letter of support from current management if currently employed at a GFS customer.
