General Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Order fulfillment/picking using RF scanner gun. Responsible for completeness and accuracy for all orders filled in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity.

Quality control/shipping clerk. Responsible for accurately checking, packaging, invoicing and manifesting customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity.

Inventory stock clerk using RF scanner gun. Responsible for stock put away, replenishment, cycle counts and other basic inventory functions.

• Pick ordered items from correct bin location
• Quality check to verify items and quantities match customer order
• Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed
• Remove any unnecessary product labels and/or work orders
• Daily stock putaway and replenishment
• Daily cycle counts
• Follow all best procedural practices
• Meet all production standards during peak season
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

• Must have dependable and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to operate forklift and electric pallet jack
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment sometimes for long hours
• Schedule flexibility to accommodate seasonal overtime needs including weekend work
• Ability to work under pressure with strong motivation and a sense of urgency
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Physical stamina - Must be capable of twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level and crouching on a frequent basis
• Physical strength – Must be able to lift 30 lbs frequently
• Must be able to shift priorities easily
• Must be able to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Must be positive and friendly with ability to work in a team environment
