Qualifications and

Experience:

• Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid certification or licensure for school psychology in Georgia
• Strong understanding of RTI/MTSS frameworks and special education processes
• Prior experience in a K-12 school setting highly preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive school climate

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho educational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support team meetings, offering expertise to guide instructional and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling, as needed
• Engage families through proactive communication and consultation
• Maintain detailed records, reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Contribute to professional development for staff as it relates to psychological services and interventions
