Distribution Engineer – Technical Trainer

Georgia Power is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer – Technical Trainer with 5–10 years of distribution engineering experience to develop and deliver technical training for engineering teams. This role combines hands-on distribution engineering expertise with training, mentoring, and coaching to ensure engineers are aligned with company standards, design practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver technical training for Distribution Engineering.
• Create and maintain training materials and curriculum.
• Train engineers on distribution system design, standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and coach engineers to improve technical skills.
• Reinforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support continuous improvement of training programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• 5–10 years of distribution engineering experience
• Experience training, mentoring, or coaching engineers
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and engineering standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
