What

You'll Do

As an X‑Ray Technologist at Ortho Atlanta, you’ll:

  • Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
  • Operate X‑ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
  • Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
  • Perform routine checks on X‑ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
  • Monitor and restock X‑ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system
  • Pays close attention to detail and values accuracy in diagnostic imaging
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers
  • Thrives in a busy clinical setting and can manage multiple imaging requests efficiently
  • Works independently while also collaborating with a broader clinical team
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification
  • 1+ year of experience as an X‑Ray Technician (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • A compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care
