Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Conyers, Georgia. This potentially temp-to-perm position offers an exciting opportunity to manage payroll processes in a dynamic construction industry environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling complex payroll operations, including multi-state and UNION payrolls, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Manage payroll for unionized employees, adhering to specific regulations and agreements.

- Handle payroll operations for a workforce exceeding 1500 employees.

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, maintaining accurate records.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.

- Utilize advanced payroll systems, such as VISTA, to streamline processes.

- Generate and review payroll reports for audits and management purposes.

- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, resolving issues professionally and efficiently

Requirements

- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

- Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations.

- Familiarity with union payroll procedures and regulations.

- Ability to handle payroll for large organizations, including over 1500 employees.

- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, preferably VISTA.

- Thorough understanding of payroll compliance requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills
