Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 18 months of circulating experience and an active GA or compact RN license for a hospital-based position.
Responsibilities- Work in the Ambulatory Surgery Center Operating Room within a hospital setting
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Responsibilities include OR circulating duties for surgical patients in an ASC setting
- Strict rules apply for requested time off; a maximum of 5 days RTO allowed unless near a holiday, when only 3 days are allowed
- Only one holiday request is permitted per assignment
- Holiday RTO requests cannot cluster multiple days together
- Candidates may only submit to one position at a time
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 18 months of circulating experience in the operating room
- CVOR RNs must have at least 18 months of recent full-time CVOR experience in a similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong cardiac and vascular procedure experience
- CNOR certification and prior travel experience preferred
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year prior to returning, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
