Position: School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Lithonia, Georgia
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an LPN supporting students in a school setting near Lithonia, GA! Two positions are now available for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide essential 1:1 care for medically fragile students during the  academic year. Assignments may include bus riding with students and require attentive, compassionate nursing skills in a structured educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia LPN license (required)
• Prior experience providing direct care in schools or 1:1 with children and adolescents
• Skilled in g/j tube care, oxygen management, and general pediatric nursing for medically fragile populations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with school staff and families
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to varying student needs and schedules
• Comfortable working onsite and able to safely perform all nursing duties

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing services to assigned students as directed by the school's health plan
• Administer medications and treatments including g/j tube and oxygen as needed
• Ride the school bus with assigned students when required, ensuring a safe and supportive journey
• Monitor, document, and communicate student health status and interventions to appropriate school personnel
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide health education for students and staff as appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and regulatory guidelines

This is a full-time, onsite contract role (37.5 hours/week), running from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027. Interview scheduling will begin July 7th.
