Registered Nurse - Telemetry

The Registered Nurse – Telemetry Unit provides specialized care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced observation. This role involves interpreting telemetry data, administering treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions.

• Provide direct patient care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs to detect changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies including IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation ensuring compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid interventions

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1–2 years nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or critical care units

• Experience in telemetry or progressive care units
• Strong background in cardiac and respiratory care
