Responsibilities- Execute major structural repairs, including frame straightening, alignment, reinforcement, and sectioning using frame racks, hydraulic equipment, and precision measuring tools.
- Conduct cab swaps (complete cab removals, installations, and alignments) on Class 8 trucks, ensuring proper fitment, wiring integration, HVAC connections, and component transfers.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, hoods, fenders, bumpers, doors, sleepers, roofs, and other components using welding (MIG/TIG), riveting, bonding, cutting, and fabrication techniques.
- Handle heavy repair work on chassis, crossmembers, suspension, and related structural elements to restore vehicle integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in collision repair or heavy-duty truck body repair preferred.
- 5+ years hands‑on experience in heavy truck collision/structural repair, with demonstrated proficiency in Class 8 trucks.
- Proven expertise in cab swaps, frame work/straightening, and heavy structural repairs on brands such as Mack, Kenworth, Freightliner, and other heavy‑duty trucks.
- Experience with welding
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL
