This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a corrugated manufacturing environment. You will support production by diagnosing and resolving issues with PLCs, motors, AC/DC drives, sensors, relays, and converting equipment, while also performing electrical installations and system upgrades. The position requires 2–4 years of industrial electrical experience, strong schematic and PLC ladder logic reading skills, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems used in corrugated manufacturing operations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, AC/DC drives, sensors, relays, and converting equipment to support continuous production.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Perform electrical installations, modifications, and system upgrades as needed to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and some mechanical maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Use SAP or similar systems to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and update equipment records.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and support overall plant performance.
- Follow all safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Participate in testing and assessment processes as part of the hiring and onboarding process, including a 30–40 minute technical test and panel interview.
- 2–4 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting for industrial equipment and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting in a production setting.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintaining motors, AC/DC drives, sensors, relays, and converting equipment.
- Ability to perform some mechanical maintenance alongside electrical work.
- Experience using SAP or similar computerized maintenance management systems.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and minimizing equipment downtime.
- Solid work history with good tenure in previous roles.
- Willingness to complete a 30–40 minute technical test and participate in a panel interview.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduation from a technical school is a plus.
- Previous military experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a union environment is beneficial.
- Background in corrugated manufacturing or similar heavy industrial settings is advantageous.

WorkEnvironment
You will work in an older, large-scale manufacturing facility of approximately 315,557 square feet that is not temperature controlled, so conditions may vary with the seasons. The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 2-2-3 rotating pattern, providing a predictable rotation of workdays and days off in a continuous production environment. The facility focuses on corrugated packaging and related fiber-based products, utilizing industrial electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, along with SAP-based maintenance tracking.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lithonia, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.73 - $37.73/hr.
