Lithonia High School is seeking a motivated Assistant Golf Coach
, who has a passion for working with high school students. The ideal candidate should have excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

• The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport that you express an interest.
• Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare the team for competition.
• Determine the need for individual or team improvement.
• Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
• Maintain inventory of athletic equipment (Lay Coach responsibilities).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques.
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities.

Community Coaches are temporary positions and must be renewed annually.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.

• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid certificate in first aid required.
