Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling a high volume of accounting transactions with accuracy. The role will focus on maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and supporting both payables and receivables activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and enter payment details accurately into accounting records.
• Assist with accounts payable activities by preparing payments, monitoring due dates, and resolving routine billing discrepancies.
• Support accounts receivable functions by recording incoming payments, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on open items as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial data through timely data entry and regular review of transaction details for completeness.
• Use Quick Books to update account information, post transactions, and help keep financial records current and organized.
• Reconcile accounting information against source documents and identify inconsistencies for correction.
• Organize invoice files and related records to ensure documentation is easy to retrieve for audits and internal review.
• Collaborate with internal team members to answer accounting-related questions and provide administrative support for finance tasks.
