As an Entry Level Buyer or Procurement Specialist working on behalf of our client, you’ll play a vital role in supporting bid and proposal activities by identifying the best suppliers, validating pricing, and ensuring data accuracy to help secure successful contracts.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline, or relevant experience
- 0-5 years of procurement or supply chain background, preferred
- Exposure to aerospace, military, electronics, or mechanical components is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and familiarity with ERP systems/databases
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance, if necessary
- Support procurement leadership in fulfilling bid and proposal requirements
- Source materials for bids, focusing on cost-effectiveness, delivery timelines, and supplier responsiveness
- Maintain and audit procurement data to ensure accuracy in quotation systems
- Collaborate with engineering and configuration teams to resolve bid BOM discrepancies, obsolescence, and alternative sourcing
- Review supply chain reports to confirm the availability and suitability of components
- Identify potential new suppliers to expand the approved vendor list through targeted research
- Manage supplier onboarding, approval, and renewal processes alongside Quality and Procurement teams
- Proactively assess and flag supply chain risks that could impact bid outcomes
- Perform additional procurement duties aligned with company growth and project objectives
